We don't want to be just an organized religion, but rather a place for people to come and find the truth and the answers to their problems and to be set free from the guilt and shame caused by sin.
During our service, we have a time of worship through song, which combines some old favorites with some new friends. We have a time of listening to the spoken Word through the sermon and we have a time of being still and knowing that He is God. We spend time in silence and listen to the still small voice.
In a nutshell, this is who we are.

Talent Friends Church has been an active part of the community for 65 years.
As our name says, we are a Friends Church. The Friends, or Quakers, is a church that was founded in 1647 because the Church of England was ignoring the teachings of the Bible and was filled with all kinds of empty rituals.
It's not just organized religion, it is personal. The name "Friends" comes from a verse in John 15:14. "You are my friends if you do what I command." That command was to love one another.
That love is the basis for everything we believe. God loves us and sent His Son. Jesus loved us so much that he paid the ultimate price. Because of their great love for us, we can love one another.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible to be the inspired infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existenting in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that man receives salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and that the presence of saving faith is revealed by a life lived in obedience to the will of God.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whom indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
We believe the chief end of man to be to glorify God.
We believe tht the essential baptism is Christ's baptism with the Holy Spirit, predicted by John the Baptist, promised by the Lord Himself, and first bestowed upon believers on the day of Pentecost.
We believe that Christ will return one day to take those who have received Him to be with Him in Heaven and those who have rejected Him to their judgment.
